1999 Ibanez PM-100
Designed & Approved by Pat Metheny
Introduced in 1996, the Ibanez Pat Metheny Signature model PM100 has a slightly offset semi-hollow body with two bound f-holes. The top back and sides of the body are made from maple, and the body is bound with abalone. The set mahogany neck has a 22 fret ebony fingerboard inlaid with mother-of-pearl / abalone blocks. At the 21st fret there is a block 'Pat Metheny' signature inlay. Interestingly, GB-10 from Ibanez also has his name imprinted on the bottom fret. A sign of prestige class?
Hardware is gold plated, with an adjustable GB103B bridge and gold plated tailpiece. Single Ibanez Super 58 humbucker in the neck position controlled by a volume and a tone control. A natural finish expresses the pure quality of the timber.
The PM-100 is a true jazz guitar, but is slightly more ergonomic then the traditional jazz box. The body is a bit slimmer, they also have a double cutaway and the neck joins the body at the 17th fret allowing easier access to the upper frets.

As for condition of the guitar, it is spotless, which makes me wonder how it can survive without any visible damage at all. This amazingly well maintained guitar ships along with the original hardshell case to a enthusiastic Pat Metheny fan. You?
