  •  SOLD  1983 Yamaha SA2000S
Solid Spruce Top True Jazz Box
A very fine vintage found, hereby I am sharing my delight. Showcased is Antique Stain Japan-made Yamaha SA-2000S dating in 1983.

The last letter 'S' in SA-2000S stands for Solid, to highlight the type of build. The carved solid spruce was used on body top, whereas SA-2000 (without S) had pressed multi ply of birch timber. The spruce top of SA-2000S also distinguishes itself from the maple top of SA-2000. Speaking of the commonality, the push push toggle knobs switch between humbucker and single coil. I see this feature on SA2000(S), SA2500, SG1500, SG2000 and SG3000 only, from Yamaha guitars.

Looking through the detailed photos below, you may easily find the guitar staying intact over 4 decades with fine maintenance done but it is still worth pointing out a few markdowns - thin vertical cracks around the input jack and knobs, dents on the rear side of neck and lacquer wears of top right hand corner. Taking them into consideration, I am offering the guitar at competitive price range. Lastly, the guitar will be shipped along with the original vintage leather gigbag.
