  •  SOLD  1968 Yamaha SA-30T
    Genesis of Japan Semi Hollow
Put up here is the first generation of Japanese hollow body guitars and the king of 1960's Yamaha hollow body. The serial number 21535 indicates it's manufactured in 1968. Over a half decade in pristine condition explains how much care, close to a museum quality, has been taken of the guitar.

Sound-wise, the guitar plays rich and vibrant, antique and reminiscent. Suits best for rock, jazz, blues and crossover players in my opinion. Neck is very smooth and straight in ideal condition.

To brief the specification - symmetrical double cutaway semi-hollow body, ivoroid body binding, two ivoroid-bound f-holes, set neck, 22-fret fingerboard, wood-based bridge, trapeze tailpiece, three knobs (volume, tone, mike balancer), three-way pickup switch, chrome hardware, Sunburst finish, 24.75 inch scale. In summary, the guitar will deliver a pure delight both to the vintage collectors and players.
